Trigger Happy or Blood Thirst, isn’t it the same!

 By Newton Danvers

These outrageous killings and happenings over the last couple of days, is nothing but a state of trigger happy and blood thirst! Let’s first address the community, yes the same community! Who sit in silence, and leave the community to be terrorized by a so called thug name Scrappy. I guess we have lost our common decency. We have convinced our self about this SNITCH conviction, or what maybe a RAT. We also rejoice over the killing of another Black Youth by Police officers’, when in fact it should have been our responsibility to preserve the norm in our Community.

Yes he was a A—hole! That’s the reaction of some community member, I am suggesting Blood Thirst! The same community that lack of responsibility concepts. Those individuals that should have step up, but another Black Youth life has been taken, and we give a Blood Thirst responds. I am suggesting again, that we are not responsible community members. We have gone through too much as Black, with the Toronto Police Force, to ever act that irresponsible, by enhancing and giving this dangerous permission to the cops to kill our kids.

That dangerous selfishness need to stop, the lack of interest in looking out for our own Black communities. We are not giving Police Officers Permission to kill and injured our kids at the Scotia Bank Parade, that ounce called Caribana, it would have easier to tell them not to go! Because the true fact that we have been robbed of a festival that we built, that should have been vital to the Black community.

Toronto Sun as on article out on Saturday July 30 2011, Titled, 1 Fatally Shot, 2 wounded at Carnival. The article read, a man who refused to drop his handgun after firing in crowd was fatally shot by Toronto Police Force Saturday along the Toronto Caribbean Carnival Parade route. Another man and a woman were wounded shortly after 7pm as the parade was wrapping up. The report also said a witness who didn’t want to be named, heard officers’ yelling at the man about six times get down get down then they fired their guns killing and hitting bystander, I am not joining that bandwagon.

The fact that the officers must have gotten a whole heap of seconds, possible a minute and more from the activity that we heard of. The sense that the officers gotten so much time to think as police officers to protect and serve, that they couldn’t have came up with a better decision than to killed and shoot innocent bystanders, no respect for peoples life.

It was stated that 2 shots was fired at the start of the occurrence, but it also stated, from the time of the cops yelling out, their haven’t been a shot fired and they yelled six times, get down, drop the gun. I am suggesting Blood Thirst and Trigger Happy. The officers have plenty of time as trained individuals to come up with better decisions as police officers, and to avoid premeditating motives. Not in no sense and form that I am defending a thug or someone that terrorize the neighborhoods and communities, but any individual who breaks the law, due to the process of the law. And neither should Megan Martin the 21 years old Pickering girl that went to the parade to have fun. She and her family shouldn’t be going through this suffering and pain, because some ill advise officers who is in the state of Blood Thirst and Trigger Happy moods.

Same can be said for august 1st, THORNHILL — Police shot and killed a 50-year-old man who allegedly stabbed his wife at their home in a normally peaceful neighborhood. The horrific incident Monday on Cottonwood Ct., in the Don Mills Rd.-John St. area, has left the couple’s two daughters orphaned and brought to an end the GTA’s most violent weekend of the year. This was a knife incident, not a gun! And the officers’ couldn’t have made a better decision? Leaving a 12 and 17 years old with no parents a life time suffering. And also taken away a man due process of the law, in a domestic affair case that could have lead to a manslaughter charge or possible acquittal. i suggest it is Trigger Happy and Blood Thirst.

Charles McGillivary went for a walk with his mother sometime after 8 p.m. Monday, to buy a slice of pizza. But before he got to the pizza place, the 45-year-old collapsed and died while being arrested by Toronto Police Officers, at the corner of Christie and Bloor St. These are acts of Blood Thirst.
