Police have charged a 25-year-old man they say murdered two people and stabbed three others last year.

Loujack Nougues Café had a brief court appearance Saturday and will remain in custody until Wednesday.

Among his victims are Laura Young, whose body was left behind a building on Cathcart Street on Feb. 16, 2011, and George Washington Burnett, found dead in his home in Stirton Avenue on Sept. 6, 2011.
