Residents of a Brampton home were awakened by gunfire when someone fired several shots into a family room early Thursday morning.
Peel Regional Police are investigating the motive for the shooting, which occurred on Tullamore Road, near Kennedy Road and Steeles Avenue, at about 12:45 a.m.
It's believed someone drove up to the home and fired at least seven gunshots at the home.
Several bullets pierced a window - adorned with Christmas decorations and what appeared to be a drawing on a white piece of paper - but no one was injured.
No one has been charged.
Investigators are trying to figure out whether the house was targeted.
