13-year-old babysitter charged with 24 sexual offences

A 13-year-old Innisfil boy has been charged with 24 sexual offences following an investigation by South Simcoe police.
Staff Sgt. John Van Dyke said the teen was charged in connection with events that occurred while babysitting three children, between the ages of four and 10, in December.
Van Dyke said the suspect had been the children's after-school babysitter for about six months prior to the incidents occurring.
The boy has been released from custody with conditions.
Under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act, police cannot release the suspect's name.
