Suspected pipe bomb found in city’s west end

Toronto police have discovered what appears to be a pipe bomb taped to a lamppost in an affluent west-end neighbourhood.
The device was found in a parkette at Prince Edward Dr. and King Georges Rd. at approximately 10 a.m., police said.
The bomb disposal unit has been called in to investigate.
Both lanes of Prince Edward Dr. S. are closed to motor vehicle and pedestrian traffic from Kingslea Gdns. to Bloor St. W.
