Mountain View residents to march for Kavorn

FAMILY members and friends of slain Jarrett Lane resident Kavorn Schue will today stage a march within the community in his memory.
Ruth Brown, Schue's cousin, said the march will commence at the Mountain View Police Station at 5:00 pm and culminate at Schue's home along Jarrett Lane with a candlelight service.
"He had given his life to the Lord and we want to bring out that aspect of his life," Brown told the Jamaica Observer on Wednesday.
His family is asking persons who wish to participate in the march to wear white tops and take candles and red roses.
The 25-year-old Schue, who headed the Mountain View Police Youth Club's sports department, was shot and killed by the police at his house under questionable circumstances last Saturday.
