Two men and a 16-year-old boy are facing a number of charges in connection with an alleged gang sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl.
Police said the girl arranged to meet one of the accused around 9:30 p.m. on Coxwell Avenue on Aug. 2. When she arrived, the two others – whom she didn’t know – were there as well.
The four then went to a home near Wakunda Place, in the Victoria Park Avenue and O’Connor Drive area, where police allege the girl was repeatedly sexually assaulted.
Both Richard Wayner, 23, and Michael Pottle, 22, have been charged, as well as the 16-year-old suspect who can’t be named because he’s a minor. All three are from Toronto and face charges that include gang sexual assault, threatening death and forcible confinement.
The accused all appeared in court on Aug. 3.
