Police have identified the victim of an overnight shooting that happened on Fawcett Trail Saturday as 28-year-old Abdulaziz Farah.
Police responded to the call near Mclevin and Morningside avenues around 12:40 a.m. after gunshots were heard in the area. Police found Farah suffering from gunshot wounds and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Farah's car – a black, four-door Acura with chrome rims and an Ontario licence plate BMEP115 – was seen fleeing the scene. Police are trying to find the car, but they say the public should not approach it if they see it, as the occupants should be considered armed and dangerous.
A silver car was also seen in the area during the shooting and police are looking to speak with the driver, as they believe he or she may have information about the shooting.
