Police said a male attempted to hold up a bank but became scared and fled without receiving any cash.
The incident occurred at a bank of Lake Shore Boulevard West, near Islington Avenue, on July 6 at 4 p.m.
Police said the male placed a note on the counter indicating he was armed with a gun, made a demand for money from a teller and then spoke to a second employee.
According to police, the suspect became scared and left before the teller gave him money.
The suspect is black, 20 to 25 years old and five-foot-six to five-foot-nine with a moustache, police said.
