A paid-duty officer called his dispatcher reporting shots fired.

TORONTO - A 42-year-old man who kept police who responded to a domestic dispute at bay for five hours is recovering in hospital after falling from a third-floor balcony after being zapped by cops.
Police say Daniel Wright barricaded himself on the balcony of the Weston Rd. apartment south of Lawrence Ave. around midnight, refusing to surrender to Toronto Police officers.
He paced along the top of the waist-high concrete barrier for some of the standoff, which ended around 5 a.m. when he was hit with a bolt from a stun gun, cops say.
Wright fell three storeys and was taken to Sunnybrook hospital for treatment. The injuries are not considered to be life-threatening, police said.
The Special Investigations Unit is now investigating.
The SIU designated two officers as subject officers and five others as witnesses.
