Brantford police make arrest in elderly man's murder

BRANTFORD, Ont. — Police in Brantford, Ont., have made an arrest in the city's first murder of the year.
The body of 67-year-old Douglas Howard Hendsbee was found last Saturday in a parked car on Fifth Avenue.
He had been stabbed by an edged weapon.
William Russell Morris, 27, of no fixed address, has been charged with second degree murder.
He also faces charges of fraud under $5,000, using a stolen credit card and breach of probation.
He is scheduled to appear in court by video conference today.
