A costume store in Etobicoke is reopening Monday after dealing with a real-life scare on the weekend.
Explosives were found at Amazing Party and Costume Store on Oxford Street, near the Gardiner Expressway and Islington Avenue, resulting in the store being evacuated and a bomb squad being called in.
Staff closed the store after the first suspicious device was found Friday, but it reopened later in the day. Two additional devices were found by employees Saturday.
At least two of the three devices are considered to be explosives.
Police set up a command post and spent a considerable amount of time scouring the store for any suspicious objects over the weekend.
The store was shut down in the days leading up to Halloween, one of the busiest sales periods of the year.
Police continue to investigate the motive for the incidents
