Police investigate a pair of overnight stabbings

Police are investigating after a pair of early morning stabbings left three people injured.
The first occurred at about 1:30 a.m. on Jameson Ave. near King St. and Landsdowne Ave. According to police, two people were stabbed in what is being described as a vengeful act following an altercation several days earlier. One was transported to hospital, where they underwent emergency surgery. The other was treated at the scene and did not require further medical attention.
At about 2:30 a.m. police responded to another stabbing in the Dundas and Bathurst Street area.
A man in his 40s suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Police say they are looking for a suspect known to the victim, but have not released a description at this point.
