There is currently no subway service between Keele and Islington stations because of emergency track maintenance, the TTC says.
The issue may be a broken rail.
Shuttle buses are running until the problem is resolved.
It's not known when subway service will return to normal, but TTC officials are hoping to complete repairs by 7 a.m.
