A murder investigation has closed Hamilton's Red Hill Valley Parkway, police confirmed Monday afternoon.
The body of the man, who has not been identified, was found lying along the centre median of the parkway between King Street and Greenhill Road around 7:20 a.m. Monday.
The man's death marks the city's fourth murder of the year.
Detectives and members of its collision reconstruction and forensics teams have been called in to investigate the parkway south of Highway 403.
Drivers havebeen asked to avoid the area. The closure is expected to last for six to eight hours.
