Man injured in apartment fire
Fire investigators are probing the cause of a blaze that injured one person late Wednesday night.A resident of the apartment, located at 3020 Keele St., woke up to find his television and stereo equipment on fire at about 11:30 p.m.
Toronto police said the man suffered burns to his hands and smoke inhalation when he grabbed the electronics and tossed them into the hallway.
Paramedics provided medical care at the scene.
All four floors of the apartment block were evacuated, forcing residents to spend some time on TTC buses as firefighters ventilated the building.
The fire was contained to a small area, but smoke filled the building.
