Two dead in downtown Hamilton stabbing

HAMILTON, Ont. — Two people are dead after a double stabbing early this morning in downtown Hamilton.
Police and paramedics were called to a home at the corner of Victoria Avenue North and Cannon Street East area shortly after 1:30 a.m.
They found a woman already dead and a man with life-threatening injuries. He died in hospital a few hours later.
Police say they believe the woman was murdered but aren't looking for a suspect.
No names have been released.
