Ford brothers set to launch weight-loss campaign

Mayor Rob Ford speaks to CP24's Stephen LeDrew during an interview Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011.
Toronto Mayor Rob Ford and his brother are stepping on the scales Monday to kick off a weight-loss campaign that will raise money for charity.
Members of the public are invited to city hall as the Ford brothers weigh in for their Cut the Waist Challenge.
Rob and Doug Ford are hoping fellow Torontonians will join them and try to shed some pounds, and they've issued a challenge to the leaders of other Canadian cities.
Rob Ford, who once described himself as "300 pounds of fun," and his brother plan to hold public weigh-ins as a way to motivate themselves to shed pounds.
People can track their progress at cutthewaist.ca.
Ford's predecessor, David Miller, lost 50 pounds while he was in office.
