Toronto records first homicide of 2012

Police are investigating after a 20-year-old man was gunned down in Scarborough early Sunday morning, becoming the city's first homicide victim of 2012.
It happened in a school yard on Hupfield Trail near Finch Avenue and Neilson Road around 5 a.m.
Jamahl Franklin was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not yet identified any suspects, but initial reports suggest several people were seen fleeing from the scene.
