Police empty the bar at gunpoint
Police have two suspects in custody after a 32-year-old man was shot three times outside an east-end bar early Saturday morning.
It happened in a parking lot on O’Connor Drive near St. Clair Avenue at around 12:30 a.m.
According to police, one of the suspects went to a car parked outside the bar to retrieve a weapon following an altercation and then confronted the victim nearby, shooting him in the thigh, abdomen and arm.
Patrons of the bar were then led out at gun point by members of the Emergency Task Force after one of the suspects reportedly ran back inside following the shooting.
The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
