Funeral arrangements for nine-year-old boy delayed a day

The funeral for a 9 1/2-year-old boy fatally shot in his Brampton home has been moved to Saturday.
The service for Kesean Williams — described by classmates and staff at Sir Winston Churchill Public School told as a bright, popular, sports-loving Grade 4 student — had been planned by his family for Friday.
Instead, Bay Gardens Funeral Home staff also rescheduled visitations at their 947 Rymal Rd. E., Hamilton facility until Thursday and Friday, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
With Rev. Clive Walters officiating, Kesean’s funeral will be held in the Peoples Church, 510 Mohawak Rd., Hamilton at 10 a.m. on Feb. 2.
Born July 21, 2003 in Hamilton, he enrolled last September in the Brampton school, with classmates and staff telling the Sun he was a bright, popular, sports-loving lad.
Kesean, his mom Tanya Garvey and 15-year-old brother lived in co-op housing in Hamilton until last summer, when they relocated to Brampton.
