Police searching for suspect after west-end shooting

A man in his 20s has been rushed to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries following a shooting in the city’s west end.
The man was initially shot outside an apartment building on Rexdale Boulevard near Martin Grove Road at around 3:40 a.m., however he made his way to the parking lot of the nearby Woodbine Racetrack where he was located by police.
He is currently undergoing emergency surgery.
No suspect information is available at this point.
