Suspect in fatal stabbing surrenders to police

 Bleecker Street fatal stabbing suspects

A man wanted in connection with a fatal stabbing that occurred in the city’s downtown core last month has surrendered to police.
The stabbings happened at an apartment building located on Bleecker Street near St. James Avenue at around 2:40 p.m. on Dec. 20.
Police received a call to the area, where they found two men suffering from stab wounds on Sherbourne Street. The two were rushed to hospital, where one man succumbed to his injuries.
The victim was later identified as 23-year-old Glenton Gibson, of Toronto.
In a police release issued on Dec. 21, investigators said they were looking for three suspects in connection with incident.
On Friday, shortly before 6 p.m., 19-year-old Trestan Brown, of Toronto, surrendered to police.
He faces three charges, including second-degree murder and attempted murder.
Brown is scheduled to appear in court on Saturday morning.
