Toronto police are investigating after a man was shot in the leg in a drive-by shooting Thursday night.
Police say they received a call reporting shots fired at 100 Close Ave., located in the King Street and Jameson Avenue area.
Reports from the scene say that a number of people were attending a vigil at an area park when a vehicle pulled up and a number of shots were fired.
The victim, believed to be in his early 20s, has been transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police say.
There is no word on if the victim was the intended target.
