Toronto police are looking for a man who fired a gunshot at a supermarket in a North York neighbourhood Tuesday night.
Officers rushed to the store, at Keele Street and Wilson Avenue, when someone reported the sound of gunshots at 8:40 p.m.
Police said a man went into the store, left a short time later and drove away in his vehicle.
Moments later, the vehicle returned to the store and a single gunshot fired at the store struck one of the front windows.
The suspect drove off before police arrived.
Police haven't commented on the motive.
Investigators are looking for a black male who is 20 to 25 years old, clean shaven and five-foot-nine to six feet tall with a medium build.
The man was wearing a dark green hooded jacket and dark grey jeans.
Police said the vehicle is possible a green 2003 or 2004 Mercury Mystique with four doors.
People shouldn't confront the suspect or suspects and should consider them armed and dangerous, police said.
