Dr. David Lambert in a screen grab from a hidden-camera video shot by undercover private investigators hired by the College of Physicians and Surgeons.
Dr. David Stuart Lambert has been found guilty of professional misconduct, after a hidden camera caught him touching the nipple of a private investigator posing as a patient.
The private investigator was only identified as “Ms X” in a report released this week by the discipline committee of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
“During the course of their scheduled appointment, Dr. Lambert intentionally touched the breast of Ms X, thus committing sexual abuse of a patient,” a statement released by the college said.
The discipline committee also found that the Peel Region general practitioner also violated earlier bans, including treating female patients, and seeing patients for services not covered by OHIP. His medical licence stays suspended, pending a penalty hearing. It’s the third time he’s been called before the committee for sexual misconduct.
