Ford says he's got a plan for 'Occupy' protesters

Occupy Toronto protesters march to city hall Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011.
Ford held a press conference Tuesday afternoon to discuss the city's upcoming Pan Am Games but reporters took the opportunity to ask the mayor what his plans were for protesters who have been occupying St. James Park for more than two weeks.
"We are working on a plan with staff and we will have a concrete answer in a few days," he told reporters at city hall.
He refused to divulge any details when he was pressed further.
Protesters were planning on attending a council meeting Tuesday afternoon in hopes of being officially endorsed by the city.
The motion to endorse the 'Occupy' movement has been deferred.
Pan Am
Meanwhile, Ford told the media that he was excited for the city to host the Pan Am Games in 2015.
The mayor just returned from Guadalajara, Mexico where he attended the last days of the Pan Am Games.
He vowed to "clean up the city" in time for Toronto to host the Games properly.
"This city will be the brightest star in the world when the Pan Am Games get here," he said. "When it gets here, it is going to create thousands and thousands of jobs and add millions to the economy."
