Highway 401 reopens following fatal crash

Highway 401 has fully reopened at Highway 6 following a fatal collision early this morning.
It happened just after 3 a.m. on the eastbound lanes of Highway 401 at Highway 6.
According to OPP spokesperson Dave Woodward, one tractor-trailer rear-ended a second tractor-trailer, which then struck a third tractor-trailer, causing it to catch fire.
The driver in the third tractor-trailer was able to escape, but the driver in the second, a 38-year-old Brampton man, was not so lucky.
