Man found shot in Scarborough backyard

A young man was rushed to hospital after being found in a West Hill backyard with gunshot wounds.
EMS officials say the man, in his 20s, was found behind a house around 9 p.m. on Northfield Rd. at Firth Cres., near Orton Park Rd. and Lawrence Rd.
Police were called after the man knocked on the door of a homeowner. He had bullet wounds on his right shoulder and the back of his neck. The man was sent to Sunnybrook with life-threatening injuries.
The scene is under investigation and there are no suspects or charges.
