A 39-year-old construction worker was taken to hospital after a wall fell on him in Vaughan.
York Regional Police said they were called to 1 Nightfall Ct. in Kleinburg shortly before 1 p.m. The address is a construction site on a street with large, expensive houses.
“The 911 call came in with a male on the phone yelling he needed help,” said Const. Rebecca Boyd.
The man was trapped under rubble from the retaining wall until emergency crews pulled him out. He was sent to Sunnybrook Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and a possible arm fracture.
He is now in stable condition. The Ministry of Labour was called to investigate
