A man in his forties was stabbed at Toronto City Hall's library apparently over the use of a computer.
The victim was stabbed Friday afternoon twice in the chest and neck. He was taken to St. Michael's hospital, and is expected to survive his injuries, Const. Tony Vella told CityNews. Police originally said the weapon was a pair of scissors but that's still being determined.
Lloyd Mangal told CityNews that two men had argued over the use of a computer. One man walked away, returned and then the stabbing occurred.
Vella said the two men didn't know each other.
The 22-year-old suspect fled and was arrested near Queen Street and University Avenue. He remains in custody and 52 Division. Charges will be laid shortly.
The area at city hall has been taped off, so a forensics team can investigate.
