School teacher charged in child porn investigation

A teacher at a middle school in East York has been arrested and charged with possessing child pornography.
The charges were laid after police executed a search warrant at a home in the Yonge Street and Yonge Boulevard area Thursday.
The 41-year-old suspect is charged with three counts of possession of child pornography, one count of accessing child pornography and one count of attempting to access child pornography.
The suspect, identified as James Robert Coulter, is scheduled to appear in court Friday morning.
Coulter teaches at Cosburn Middle School near Cosburn and Coxwell avenues.
