Man shot to death at Brampton home, police searching for suspect

Investigators are appealing for tips after a 23-year-old man was murdered in Brampton Sunday night.

Peel police said the victim was gunned down at a home on Newby Court, near Main and Vodden streets, just before midnight. The victim’s name hasn’t been released. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

There were other people at the house when the shooting happened, police said Monday.

Detectives are looking for a suspect, but haven’t provided a description.

Authorities have released few details about the fatal shooting and are asking anyone with information to contact them. Both the homicide squad and missing person’s bureau are on the case.
