Man hit by GO train in Mississauga

A man has been struck by a GO train in Mississauga, Peel police say.

It happened east of the Clarkson GO station on the Lakeshore West line sometime before 5:30 p.m., according to GO Transit.

Officials says the train was going 10 km/h when the man in his 20s was hit. He was being taken to Trillium Health Centre with minor lacerations, paramedics say.

Trains were briefly delayed, but have resumed.
