Fire crews battle stubborn blaze in Hamilton






Fire crews battle a house fire in Hamilton on Jan. 30, 2012.
Fire crews in Hamilton are battling a stubborn blaze that has fully engulfed a home and is threatening to damage an adjacent property.
The fire broke out at around 6:30 a.m. on John Street North.
No one has been injured in fire, according to Hamilton police.
The flames tore through the roof of the home, causing extensive damage. At one point, police reported that an adjacent home had also caught fire.
There is no word on what may have caused the blaze.
